Tasting notes
The color is deep ruby red with garnet nuances. On the nose the wine offers hints of red fruit jam (cherry, black cherry), dried flowers, cardamom and sweet tobacco. On the palate it is rich and intensely structured with well-integrated tannins and flavors of licorice and morosco cherry that carry through a dry, complex finish
Food pairing
Boiled, braised, roosted meat (beef, lamb), aged cheeses
Winemaker’s notes
The DOCG is one of the excellence of the Teramo territory. Elegant wine, of great structure and complexity, is proposed here in the Riserva type, which, thanks to the targeted aging in wood, confers even more complexity to this excellent selection
